There's a reason why we call it Adrian's Crazy Life.  I wear a lot of hats and I always have a lot of different things going on.  Here are some of the roles I play:

Wife - Married for 25+ years.  It's not one of those fairy-tale romances, but we've made it this long without strangling each other, so I count that as a victory.

Mother - We have 3 boys, two of our own, and my stepson.  Probably the most interesting thing about them in their ages.  Later this year, I'll have one in each decade.  30, 22, and 13.  They drive me nuts sometimes, but they're really pretty amazing guys.

Grandmother - I have 4 pretty amazing grandkids from our oldest son.  I don't get to see them much because they live in a California, but I sure enjoy them when I do get to see them. 2 boys/2 girls and the are just slightly younger than my youngest son. 

Work - I'm a 3rd generation working Mom.  My mom, sister, nieces, and even my both grandmothers have all been full-time working mothers.  So it never really entered my mind to do anything else.  I've worked at one job or other since I was 14 years old and I've been at my current job for 20 years.  I work in the Accounting Dept for a large financial company paying huge phone bills.

Hobby/Business - In addition to my full-time job, for the last 7 years, I've had my own business selling stamping and scrapbooking supplies for Stampin' Up!  I teach monthly classes at my house and I go to demonstrator events when I can, usually several times a year. I'm big into digital scrapbooking these days and I make all my own cards, of course! 

Blogging - Obviously, I'm a blogger and I try to keep pretty active in the blogging community.  I attend blogging conferences in my area as often as I can and participate in informal get-togethers with the local blogger girls.  I meet some amazing people that way and get a lot of good information about social media. 

Scouts - We're a pretty big Scout family these days.  My youngest son is working his way towards his Eagle rank.  We are in a great Troop and there are camping trips or other activities several times a month in addition to regular meetings and troop leadership meetings.

Church - We participate in activities at two different churches in our area, a Presbyterian one that we've been attending for about 14 years, and the Methodist one where we have our Scout meetings.  We help out with fundraisers, youth group activities, special care meetings, card making, and Mission Trips. 

Pet Owner - We have four cats and one dog, a St. Bernard.  Sometimes, I think they are more trouble than the kids are, especially the cats.  I've had a lot of cats in my life, but these ones are the most fun and challenging pets we've ever had, and we've had some interesting pets over the years.

Are you tired yet?  This is just a small taste of the craziness that is my life, but I love it like this.  I guess I just get bored easily because I'm never happy unless I'm going in nine different directions at once.  Gives me a lot to blog about, anyway.  Welcome to Adrian's Crazy Life!
