Win a $35 Macy's Giftcard
Post updated: Please note that I have made it even easier to win the $25 Macy's giftcard. Click here to go to today's Fishful Thinking post for more details.
As a Fishful Thinking Mom-bassador, I get to do some fun stuff. This week, I get to give away a great prize. Pepperidge Farm, who sponsors the Fishful Thinking website, has provided a $35 Macy's giftcard to give away to one of my special blog readers.
(Important correction: Someone just pointed out to me that it is a $25 gift card and not a $35 gift card. I guess I should actually READ the fine print, shouldn't I? Anyway, sorry for the confusion, but I can't change the title as I've already put it in a couple of Mister Linkies and I think that would mess up the link. Hey, it's midnight on Friday after a loooong week at work. Hope you'll forgive me!)
If you're not familiar with the Fishful Thinking website, it is a website to promote positive thinking and optimism for parents, teachers, and kids. There is even a special section of the website with fun games for your kids to play and some great articles for parents and teachers to enjoy.
I will be drawing a winner at random next Sunday evening (that's actually Easter Sunday evening, boy that sure crept up on me!). There are several ways for you to win this prize:
For one entry, click the Fishy on my sidebar to go straight to the Fishful Thinking website. Once you are on the website, choose an activity to do with your children. Or if you don't have children, or if your children are grown, see how you can modify one of the activities to do for yourself. Then come back here and leave me a comment about how you and your family enjoyed the activity.
For an additional five entries, post the activity on your blog. You get five bonus entries if you include a picture. Here's a Mister Linky for you to link your entries to.
For an additional fifteen entries, become a Fishful Thinking Mom-bassador like me. There is a great community working behind the scenes and also a chance to win great prizes. For instance, this week, which was my second week on the portal, I won a $50 gift card. I don't do it for the prizes, but it's nice to have your efforts recognized and they give away prizes to the top 15 Mom-bassadors every week. HERE is the link to sign up. Tiffany from over at SITS has a special Mom-bassadors-only blog for us, so remind me to have her send you the link for it. Don't forget to leave a comment to tell me you've signed up.

$25 or $35, I'll take anything I can get! lol
That is such a cool website! Since I don't have any kids I would do the "Grateful Sayings" Poster for myself and write down all the things that I am thankful for. I haven't done something like that forever! I think it'd be awesome for me and my hubby to do together, maybe we'll even write a list for our dog Dozer, he's got a lot to be thankful for :)
Thanks for letting me enter and just remember if you choose me you get to save on postage! LOL
I'm just sayin :)
I don't have kids, so I am modifying the activity for myself!
I chose the one photographing hope! As a scrapbooker this is perfect...hope for me is so many things...God's destiny for my life, my teaching certification, my first house, etc, etc!
I definitely will turn this into a scrapbook page in the near future!
I love the Fishful Thinking website. On friday we played the statue game and loved it. We meaning myself and the daycare kiddos. I love the website, it gives me great ideas of things to do with the kiddos.

I'm already a Fishful Thinking ambassador (learned about it from SITS) and recently did a happiness scavenger hunt with my 3 and 6 year olds. Fun! My six year old can be a little *serious* at times and teaching her optimism and resilience will be important throughout her life.
Hi, yes u are correct...it is a great site! I don't have little ones anymore, but I have lots of contact with my wee nephews and niece. So...at meal time we always do the *thankful* things...this is now in their little brains forever I think. I go to the site for ideas as well and told everyone in my contacts book as well. Ty for the chance to win ..always can use Macy's. After Easter when i have more time I may go check on being an ambassador myself..This is such a great program! Cher
My son is only 11 months so we did a modified version of the scavenger hunt in the yard today (since it's beautiful outside!!)
thanks

My daughter and I did "Why Does it Matter". I love this site!
I love the activity for last week where we figured out what the things we thought we couldn't do were and pointed out what we CAN do. With Mister Man, he started to realize all the things he's learned how to do over the past year, and that was way cool. Here's hoping some of that positive thinking sticks with him.
And I am an ambassador... but what do you need to do to verify? I missed that part!
scavenger hunt story time will be fun!
I am going to do the Grateful Sayings poster with my son.
My daughter did the Beauty Detours.
It was fun we are going to do this more often.
