Oh my gosh! I am SO fed up with watching NOTHING on TV! After the disastrous season that wasn't, we've had the most boring Summer re-run season ever. I'm dying here.

Did I mention I have TWO Tivos? I have a 40 hour one and an 80 hour one, so there is a potential for 120 hours of glorious TV watching, but right now both of them are filled with absolute CRAP because there hasn't been a decent TV show on (other than the Olympics) for an entire 3 months. My housewives are getting desperate here!

Side note: Note that this doesn't stop me from watching the garbage that is available on TV. I watch it and plenty of it, but that doesn't stop me from whining about it.

Yes, I know that the new Fall Season starts in about two weeks, but it's two very LOOOONNNNGGGG weeks and the more commercials they show me just makes me realize how much I missed all my Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Dancing with the Stars, Bones, Desperate Housewives, Pushing Daisies, etc.....

Oh my gosh! I just had a scary thought. I'm turning into my mother. I always used to get on my Mom because she used to watch all those old doctor shows on TV - Marcus Welby, Medical Center, Emergency, etc. Every night of the week for hours at a time. Now 3 out of my 4 favorite shows are what? Doctor shows - every night of the week for hours at a time. Of course, there's a lot more sex than medicine in them now, but they're still technically doctor shows.

Yikes! I've got to go. I think I need to go draft a petition to ban Tivo from American Homes. I think that thing is responsible for more TV addictions than Johnny Carson, Ellen DeGeneres, and Jay Leno combined!
