New Political Videos

I know, we're all getting tired of political talk and we've still got two more months to go until the election, but I found some videos on the Internet that I thought were interesting.

I like this first one because it shows some actual clips from McCain interviews that show where he is contradicting himself on some important issues. I think that's more honest than "he said, she said", finger-pointing kind of stuff because he's actually speaking for himself and a candidate needs to use his words responsibly.

Here is another video where Sarah Palin is defending the infamous "Bridge to Nowhere". Again, in her own words. This is one of her big selling points, that she is tough on spending and corruption, but she didn't fight against this until all the negative publicity surrounded this issue. I would SO love to support having a woman in the White House, but I just don't think she is the right one. Although I have to be honest, I wasn't doing backflips about Hilary either, but I probably would have voted for her if she had won the nomination.

This isn't another video, but I did find an interesting article with some facts on Sarah Palin's Alaska experience. She is touted as someone who is going to bust up the cronyism and good ol' boy system in Washtington, which I totally agree needs to be done. However, they are starting to come up with questions about a few ethics violations while she was in office previously. I think that someone who is going to issue challenges like this needs to have a totally spotless record in their own past.
