I don't know what it is with us, but we've been in the media a lot lately! I told you about the field trip to the news station and being briefly on TV for that. Well, earlier that same day, Matt had been featured in the newspaper, right on the front page of the Utah section. They were doing some article about a policy change at the tech school he goes to. They want to integrate it into the Community College system and they interviewed him for the article. They also took several pictures of him, but none of them were included in the article.

Well, to complete the Trifecta, Blake got to be on TV this morning. There's a guy for that same news station who goes around to local schools every day and does fun stuff with the kids. His name is "Big Budah" and he's this cool Islander guy. He was at Blake's school at 6:00 this morning (yawn!) and of course Blake was all excited to be there. Fortunately, Dad was able to take him so I could sleep in a bit! They had to wear red in honor of a women's heart disease fund raiser they were highlighting. Cool stuff!

Naturally, our little ham was right in the thick of things. No one has ever accused any of my children of being shy. He had his bright red "Utes" sweatshirt and he was jumping rope and cheering with all the other little maniacs. We tried to tape it on our Tivo and we got some of it, but it cut off before it got to the really good stuff. Fortunately, they posted some of the video segments on their website so Blake was able to watch it that way. I E-mailed them asking how I can post one of them on my blog, but in the meantime, here is the link - segment #5 is the best one to see him. I don't know how long they'll keep it on the website, but I was sure glad he got to see it.
